Grounds Maintenance/Winter Maintenance
JMC Landscapes are now looking for experienced Grounds Maintenance Operatives to join our company.
We would expect you to be able to carry out the below tasks to a high standard.
Drive a work van and tow a trailer - Grass Cutting - Strimming - Hedge Cutting - Spraying Of Pesticides - Lawn Treatments - Hand Weeding Of Flower/Shrub Beds - Gritting - Snow Clearing When Required.
Here at JMC we carry out both domestic and commercial Grounds Maintenance, we work at some very prestige properties and show homes around the North East, it’s crucial that you have exellent attention to detail and take pride in your work. You will also so have good commutation skills as you’ll have to speak with existing customers from time to time regarding tasks they may want you to carry out on site.
In the winter months we offer a winter maintenance service, this allows JMC to continue your employment so you never get laid off due to lack of work. All our winter maintenance is carried out through the night when carparks are empty. More info will be given at interview stage.
You will need experience in towing trailers as some jobs will require a ride-on lawn mower.
You would need to get your self to and from work so please check the commute works for you. (Depot Post Code is DL16 7HY)
Full UK Driving licence required
CSCS card desirable
Start time Monday to Thursday 7.30am - 4.30
Friday 7.30am - finish at 3pm but paid until 4.30
Every other Monday off fully paid
