JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Grounds Maintenance Worker to join us.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in landscape maintenance and horticulture, with the ability to operate various hand and power tools. This role involves maintaining the aesthetic appeal and functionality of outdoor spaces, ensuring that all grounds are kept in pristine condition.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience in landscape maintenance or gardening is essential.
• Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed.
• Familiarity with horticulture practices and principles.
• Experience operating excavators and other heavy machinery is advantageous.
• Ability to work effectively with hand tools and power tools safely.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Full UK drivers license and confident in driving a van.
• 3 Month minimum term with a permanent position for the right candidate.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labour in various weather conditions.

• Perform regular landscape maintenance, including mowing, trimming, and planting.
• Operate and maintain various hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as mini diggers for landscaping tasks.
• Install and repair wooden fences
• Conduct routine inspections of grounds to identify areas needing attention or repair.
• Assist with construction projects related to landscaping
• Maintain cleanliness of all equipment and work areas to promote safety and efficiency.
• Able to be self motivated
