YOUR OPPORTUNITY The Grounds Maintenance Equipment Operator will assist operations multiple functions as directed by the grounds maintenance supervisor. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Operate heavy equipment, such as: motor grader, dozer, backhoe, loader, skid loader, tractor, packer, truck and trailer. * Assist in grading and road maintenance for all farms. * Assist in lagoon repairs. * Assiss in pulling stuck trucks (feed/live animal haul) during storms. * Snow plowing during winter months. * Mowing and weed eating during summer months. * Plumbing repairs throughout operations. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS * High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; or 1-3 months related experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. * Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos preferred. Ability to write simple correspondence preferred. * A valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record (MVR) required. * Bilingual, Spanish and English preferred but not necessary.
