We are seeking a skilled & experienced Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team .
Do you have experience of strimming, grass cutting using commercial equipment and hedge cutting?
Are you passionate about horticulture?
Do you possess a full UK driving license?

Role Summary:
Based at our Newcastle depot.
We are happy to consider candidates who are looking for full time or part time work.
Our ideal candidates will hold a full driving licence. If you have experience of driving light commercial vehicles and towing trailers that would also be advantageous
What will I be responsible for?
Joining our team leader on a van, you will take on a varied role and assist them in servicing many types of facilities including NHS, Police stations, retail parks and schools in and around the north east. Daily tasks will include:
Grass mowing
Strimming
Litter picking
Pruning
Weeding
As this role will involve working on some school contracts, a full DBS check will be carried out on successful candidates.
Salary is negotiable depending on experience and capabilities to manage and execute the daily work load.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in groundskeeping or a similar role is ESSENTIAL
• Pesticide spraying certificate
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for landscaping work
• Knowledge of mechanical equipment used in grounds maintenance
• Ability to work efficiently in an outdoor environment
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
  Pay: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year

Experience:

• Groundskeeping: 2 years (required)
• Hand tools: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• PA6 Spraying Licence (preferred)
• Driving Licence (required)
