JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Grounds Maintenance Worker to join our highways verge grass cutting team across the Tandridge district. The ideal candidate will have a full UK driving licence, experience in operating out front rotary ride on mowers & a thorough comprehension of working on the roadside.

Responsibilities:

• Operate an out front ride on rotary mower.
• Operate a leaf blower and strimmer.
• Work as part of a close team.
• Basic use of an android tablet to follow maps and sign off completed works.
• Daily liaison with line manager to confirm works areas and progress.

Experience:

• Previous experience in operating a ride on mower is mandatory.
• Experience working on highways verge grass cutting contracts is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience operating various two stroke grounds maintenance equipment such as strimmer’s and blowers.
• Further industry related qualifications can be advantageous.

Please note - the successful candidate will be required to make their own way to and from our yard in Lingfield on a daily basis, there is plenty of parking available on site.

Pay: £12.21-£12.71 per hour
