• Mow lawns, trim edges, and maintain borders
• Perform weeding and weed control (manual or chemical)
• Clear leaves, litter, and dispose of waste
• Empty outdoor bins and keep the site clean
• Plant, water, and maintain flowers, shrubs, and trees
• Prune hedges and greenery as needed
• Check irrigation systems and apply mulch or soil conditioner
• Assist with seasonal planting and replanting
• Sweep paths, roads, and courtyards
• Inspect and report damage to fences, gates, and outdoor furniture
• Support biodiversity and sustainability initiatives
• Provide snow and ice gritting in winter (Nov–March)
• Support operations during adverse weather
• Attend daily briefings and develop skills to assist the Grounds Manager
• Operate and maintain grounds machinery safely
• Conduct safety checks and ensure proper equipment storage
• Be trained to drive Sodexo vehicles and machinery
• Follow health and safety protocols and report hazards
• Ensure contractor compliance with safety standards
• Respond professionally to client requests and maintain a respectful attitude
