Description We are currently looking for a Grounds Operator 1 to join the Quail West team! Quail West is a leading private golf and country club that prides itself on providing world-class facilities for Members and their guests and an extraordinary and inclusive, yet unpretentious lifestyle. One of Southwest Florida’s most welcoming clubs, Quail West’s courses, facilities and services are shared by a limited number of members to enhance the quality of the member experience. Summary: Will exhibit proficiency in all tasks associated with the daily care and maintenance of a private upscale community. Will perform all tasks as outlined for Operator level 1. This is a Full-Time position Pay rate: $18.00/hour Schedule: Monday - Friday, 5:45am to 2:15pm (+1 weekend per month) Why Join the Quail West Team? Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Have experience with or be able to use the following pieces of equipment: Push mower Riding mower Line trimmer Stick edger Blower Hedge trimmer All other duties as assigned. Requirements Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Exhibit professionalism and leadership qualities through own self-actions. Must be compliant with and actively support a drug free workplace. Comply with all rules and regulations as stated whether verbal or written. Will energetically support all training activities with this department to ensure consistency throughout grounds operation. Will perform all duties of Operator 1 with excellence but not be limited to these tasks. Will perform all duties in a safe operating manner while wearing all required safety equipment. Qualifications: Minimum of a high school diploma preferred. Meticulous attention to detail. Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills. Bi-lingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

The operator will exhibit proficiency in all tasks associated with the daily care and maintenance of a private upscale community, performing all duties outlined for Operator level 1. This includes operating various pieces of groundskeeping equipment safely and effectively.
