Description Myers Park Country Club is looking for highly motivated individuals to join our team. Golf course maintenance is the care and improvement of the golf course itself, as well as the features around the course. We would love to have the opportunity to bring you on board to our winning team! Mow and trim all course features and facility lawns Maintain bunkers Set golf holes, tee markers and flags Perform landscape activities; planting flowers and shrubs, bed maintenance, pruning and trimming Removal of debris, snow, or ice as necessary Seed, fertilize, apply pesticides and herbicides Fill divots and repair ball marks throughout the course Water tees, greens, fairways, and other required areas Help in project work, including course construction and renovation activities Assist with repairs to the irrigation system, pipes, and irrigation heads Operate small hand tools and small power equipment (string trimmers, backpack blowers, etc.) Clean and organize maintenance the facility Requirements Walk and stand, up to 7 hours a day on various surfaces Work outside year-round in all weather conditions (light/dark, hot/cold, humid/dry, etc.) Lift, push, pull, or move up to 50 pounds frequently Work in multiple positions, such as standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, and squatting Ability to safely operate golf carts (driver’s license required) Three to six months related experience is a plus
