Description GSF Properties Inc. is seeking a reliable and motivated Grounds Technician to join our dynamic property management team in Bakersfield, CA! In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall curb appeal of a large community in Bakersfield. Your work will directly contribute to creating a welcoming, well-maintained environment that enhances the resident experience. Responsibilities include cleaning enclosures and dumpster areas, power washing, removing debris and cobwebs, and ensuring the property consistently meets high curb appeal standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, takes pride in their work, and is comfortable working independently while supporting on-site teams as needed. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and being part of a team committed to maintaining a high-quality community. This position is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, totaling 40 hours per week. The pay rate is $17.00 per hour, plus benefits. Key Responsibilities: Maintain cleanliness of grounds, common areas, and amenity spaces Clean dumpster enclosures and trash areas; ensure proper waste management Perform power washing, sweeping, debris removal, and cobweb removal Monitor and uphold curb appeal standards throughout the property Assist with light maintenance tasks and support unit turns as needed Identify and report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or property damage Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times Collaborate with Community Manager and Operations Manager to ensure overall property upkeep and directly report to them GSF Benefits: Medical Dental Vision Employee assistance program 40 Life insurance Holidays Vacation For more information about GSF Properties Inc., please visit: https://www.gsfpi.com/ Requirements Requirements for Grounds Technician: Prior groundskeeping, janitorial, or related experience preferred Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality work Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Reliable, punctual, and dependable Basic knowledge of maintenance tools and equipment is a plus Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team Reliable transportation required Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Available to work a full-time schedule, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (40 hours per week)
