Duties & Responsibilities: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. * Carry out landscaping and grounds projects as directed, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to resort standards. * Perform routine maintenance of the property grounds year-round, including turf care, planting, irrigation, and seasonal upkeep. * Communicate openly and positively with supervisors, colleagues, and other resort departments to support seamless operations. * Maintain vehicles, tools, and equipment in good working order; identify supply needs and assist with ordering as necessary. * Collaborate with fellow grounds crew members and cross-departmental staff to complete assignments effectively. * Adhere to all safety protocols and use proper precautions with tools, equipment, and machinery to ensure a safe work environment. * Support additional duties as assigned to uphold the resort’s standards of appearance and guest experience. Job Requirements: * General knowledge and practical experience in landscaping, irrigation systems, and horticulture. * Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to flexible scheduling. * Ability to occasionally lift and carry items weighing 50 pounds or more. * Physical stamina to stand, walk, climb stairs, bend, and reach for extended periods (6–7 hours at a time). * Ability to read and understand basic chemical labels and accurately complete written reports and assessments. * Valid driver’s license required for year-round work, particularly during the winter season.
