The Life of a Groundskeeper * Responsible for working with the team to improve or maintain the health of the plants in the landscape and within the natural environment * Participate in pruning, mowing, trimming, planting, mulching, pressure washing, fertilizing, raking, weeding, and tidying gardens and grounds * Assist in the set up and take down for winery events/concert series * Pruning, thinning and harvesting fruit trees * Maintain the gardens of winery residences * Perform other duties to maintain a clean and well-maintained landscaped environment and property in general What We’re Looking For: * Previous experience or a passion for horticulture * Ability to use hand and mechanical tools * Valid driver’s license * Physically fit and capable of bending as well as lifting and carrying up to 22.7 kg (50 lbs) * Working outdoors, in all weather conditions is required * Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a team environment * You listen, take feedback, respond quickly, and take initiative with a sense of urgency * You are authentic, diplomatic, thoughtful, and always have the best intentions Bonus Points: * Certificate in horticulture considered an asset * 1-2 years’ experience What We Offer: * Comprehensive paid training and access to extensive wine education * Competitive wages $23-$26/hour (pay is determined by job-related knowledge, skills, experience and education) * Discounts at Home Block Restaurant, Events, and at our Boutique on gifts and wine * Free tastings for you and your guests * Discounts on tours and Sommelier Experiences At CedarCreek,, we exist to Unearth the Extraordinary: Our Purpose is not just a statement; it is a call to action that binds us together and ignites our passion for making a difference. Responsibilities

Maintain the health and appearance of the winery's landscape, gardens, and natural environment through various gardening tasks. Assist with the setup and takedown of winery events and the harvesting of fruit trees.
