What You’ll Do: As a Groundskeeper, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining the appearance and physical condition of our community, creating a safe, welcoming, and visually appealing environment for our residents. This full-time, non-exempt position reports directly to the Property Manager. Where You’ll Work: You will work at one of our Conventional sites in Reynoldsburg, OH. What You’ll Own: * Keep all interior and exterior areas clean, safe, and presentable at all times, including buildings, common areas, amenities, and grounds. Tasks include picking up litter, sweeping, blowing, or pressure-washing breezeways, parking lots, and other shared spaces. * Care for plants, shrubs, and flowers by watering and ensuring their healthy appearance. * Assist with swimming pool cleaning and maintenance to ensure compliance with safety standards. * Support unit turnover processes, including trashing out vacant units and collaborating with vendors to maintain quality standards. * Provide friendly and professional service to current, future, and past residents, including delivering and posting newsletters and correspondence. * Inspect the property daily to identify and address hazardous conditions or liability concerns. * Use property resources, equipment, and supplies efficiently and safely. * Assist with light maintenance duties as needed. * Perform other responsibilities as assigned by management. What You’ll Bring: * High school diploma or equivalent. * Basic English communication skills to follow instructions and interact with residents and team members. * Basic computer skills for completing work orders or other property tasks. * Previous experience in groundskeeping, general maintenance, or housekeeping is preferred but not required. * Physical ability to frequently walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift/move loads up to 50 lbs, as well as climb and work from ladders. * Must live within 30 miles of the property and have reliable transportation to participate in on-call duties.
