Description Blue Bell Country Club are seeking qualified seasonal groundskeepers to work through December 2026 A Groundskeeper/Equipment Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining groundskeeping equipment and construction equipment and for maintaining and repairing campus grounds, golf course, irrigation systems, walkways, and parking areas; does related work as required. Work requires skill in the operation of grounds equipment used for construction and maintenance. Physical strength and agility are required to operate tractor mounted equipment, lawn mowers and other manual or power tools used in the work and to bend, stoop, twist, lift and carry trash, bags, containers, and equipment. Working conditions may include standing and/or walking for extended periods and working outdoors in all kinds of weather. Positions require the ability to work varied shifts and irregular hours during inclement weather. Must be self-motivated, reliable, and willing to take oral and written directions Must have reliable transportation to work and show up on time every scheduled day Must be willing to work weekends as required to prepare the golf course for play Operates hand mowers, riding mowers, string trimmers on and around greens, tees, fairways, bunkers and rough etc. Raking, weeding, edging bunkers Grounds maintenance work such as soil prep, seeding, sodding, cart path grading, irrigation installation and repair, hand watering, grounds clean up, spring cleanup, light janitorial work Ability to learn to operate grounds maintenance equipment such as mowers, tractors, utility carts, hand tool Course setup (moving tees, changing pin locations) Mowing tees and fairways Walk mowing collars Filling of divots on course and practice facilities Trimming irrigation heads Performs other duties as directed by his/her supervisor Returns all equipment to the designated location at the maintenance facility; and cleans the maintenance areas. Should possess physical strength, stamina, and agility to perform the above tasks Requirements High School Diploma or Equivalent Must be 18 years of ag or older Previous experience working in grounds (Preferred) Authorized to work in the United States Available to work weekends, evening shifts and major holidays (Easter, Mother’s Day, Thanksgiving, along with other special events from time to time) Mandatory compliance with all safety regulations, procedures, policies, and rules Regular and predictable attendance. Always arrives punctually in full uniform with a neat & professional appearance Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, carrying, bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching. Able to lift to 25 pounds without assistance and more than 50 pounds with assistance Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
