Description Point Real Estate Management is seeking a full time Groundskeeper to add to our team! This position will support multiple properties in Madison, Wisconsin. The ideal candidate will enjoy working outside to maintain the properties appearances. The Groundskeeper will ensure the community grounds remain clean and visually appealing. He or she will be tasked with caring for lawns, trees, shrubs, and ground cover to ensure they remain green and healthy. Duties and Responsibilities Janitorial a. Pick up litter daily b. Sweep/blow breezeways c. Clean areas around dumpsters d. Clean out vacant apartments e. Clean common spaces, hallways, laundry room, etc Grounds (unless performed by sub-contractor) a. Water, as needed b. Use insecticides, fertilizers and herbicides as needed c. Reseed lawn and replant, if necessary d. Properly stake trees e. Properly prune trees and shrubs f. Weed lawns and all other planted areas g. Make drainage corrections General Maintenance a. Assist in Make-Readies and other maintenance work as directed Requirements Work Experience Requirements · General grounds, yard and maintenance experience preferred · Valid driver’s license with good driving record and auto insurance. · Reliable vehicle to travel between local properties Educational Requirements · High School diploma or GED Employees are eligible for health, vision, and dental insurance within 30 days of hire and 401(k) with match after one month of service!
