JOB SUMMARY: The Porter is responsible for the upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors and leasing office, parking lots, and other community buildings of multi-family residential apartments. CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time, Hourly/Non-Exempt SHIFT: Monday - Friday 8 am-5 pm COMPENSATION: $18-$22/hour ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Ensure meticulous upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors and leasing office, parking lots, and other community buildings. Remove trash from office areas and apartment community perimeter on a daily basis. Assist in the preparation of market-ready units, including trash removal from vacant apartments. Assist and perform assigned maintenance tasks in a timely manner. Assist in the cleaning of available units and models. Assist in the troubleshooting/repairing of mechanical, carpentry, and electrical problems. Report any maintenance concerns for repairs to the maintenance supervisor or property manager. Perform tasks and operate machinery in a safe manner and in compliance with safety procedures. Requirements REQUIRED High school Diploma or GED Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
