Apartment Groundskeeper / Porter Overview We’re looking for a dependable Groundskeeper/Porter to help keep our community clean, safe, and well-maintained. This role supports the maintenance team with daily upkeep, light repairs, and unit turns while helping create a great environment for our residents. What You’ll Do * Maintain the overall cleanliness of the community, including grounds, amenities, and common areas * Pick up trash, debris, and pet waste daily to keep the property looking its best * Assist with make-ready tasks for vacant units (cleaning, painting, minor repairs) * Complete minor maintenance tasks and service requests when assigned * Support preventative maintenance efforts across the property * Help maintain pool areas, including skimming, basic chemical checks, and general upkeep * Replace light bulbs, air filters, and perform other basic maintenance tasks * Assist with light plumbing and electrical work under supervision * Monitor the community for safety hazards and report issues promptly * Keep maintenance shops, storage areas, and equipment clean and organized * Distribute notices to residents as needed * Support the team with general daily tasks and special projects What We’re Looking For * Strong work ethic and reliability * Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to jump in where needed * Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions * Basic knowledge of maintenance tasks (helpful but not required) * Attention to detail and commitment to safety * Professional appearance and attitude Why Choose UDC?
