About the Role Compensation: $19 - $21/hr + Commissions for renewals, vacancy loss goals, and reputation score (Final compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and qualifications.) Sign-on Bonus: $1,500 Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am-5:00pm The groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the exterior appearance of our property. They will be required to perform a variety of tasks to ensure that the grounds, landscaping, and outdoor amenities are well-maintained and presentable to residents and visitors. Key Responsibilities Receive direction, priorities, and daily assignments from the Community Manager or Maintenance Supervisor. Conduct comprehensive daily inspections of the property to ensure all areas—including sidewalks, curbs, walkways, parking lots, and building exteriors—are clean, safe, and well-maintained. Sweep and blow common areas, removing trash, debris, and pet waste as needed. Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of all community amenities, including courtyards, swimming pools, and outdoor grilling areas. Assist with snow and ice removal during winter months. Perform light maintenance duties such as replacing bulbs, touching up paint, and maintaining exterior surfaces. Promptly report maintenance needs or safety concerns to the Community Manager and Maintenance Supervisor. Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and ensure all materials are properly stored after use. Follow all safety procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook, operational SOPs, and equipment safety labels. Uphold a professional demeanor and always represent the company positively. Comply with OSHA standards and guidelines. Regularly review maintenance software to monitor and complete assigned groundskeeping tasks in a timely manner. Demonstrate teamwork, professionalism, and a commitment to excellence in all aspects of work. Requirements Qualifications Required Valid driver's license Must have reliable transportation.
