Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: * Assists supervisor by executing work schedules and assists with reinforcing administrative, operational and safety procedures. * Monitors and maintains inventory of equipment, tools and services required for the Grounds department. * Assists supervisor with the coordination between Grounds and other departments on specialized projects and performs grounds maintenance duties when necessary. * Performs other duties as assigned. Educational Requirements: * High School Diploma or equivalent. Work Experience and Minimum Requirements: * Bi-Lingual is a plus. Bi-Lingual is a plus. * Working knowledge of grounds equipment, tools, and material required. Working knowledge of grounds equipment, tools, and material required. * General understanding of the nature of plants required. * Valid NY, NJ, CT, or PA Driver’s license is required. * Must be available for emergency work. Testing: * Drug screening, as permitted by, and consistent with, applicable law Physical Requirements: Persons performing service in this position classification may routinely exert up to 100 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. This type of work will involve regular walking or standing for extended periods of time. It may involve stooping or bending. Handling and working with various materials and objects are important aspects of this job.
