JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for an experienced Groundworker Foreman to lead a team on a commercial project involving the construction of new warehouse units. The successful candidate will oversee all groundworks activities, ensuring work is completed safely, to spec, and within deadlines.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience as a Groundworker Foreman or Lead Groundworker
• Strong knowledge of commercial groundworks, particularly for warehouse construction

• Supervising and coordinating groundworks crews on-site
• Reading and interpreting site drawings and setting out plans
• Overseeing drainage, foundations, concrete pours, ducting, and services installation
• Ensuring health & safety compliance and conducting toolbox talks
• Liaising with site managers, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Keeping daily records and reporting progress/issues to the Site Manager
• Hands-on where required to support the team
