Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Groundworker to join our team. As a Groundworker, you will be responsible for assisting with various construction and maintenance tasks on site. This is a full-time position based in [Location].
You will get a company Van , Fuel card, phone and uniform.
Duties:
- Carry out ground preparation work, including digging trenches and excavating areas for construction projects
- Assist with the installation of drainage systems and utility lines
- Lay foundations, concrete slabs, and paving stones
- Operate machinery such as diggers and compactors
- Assist with the erection of fencing and barriers
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on existing structures
- Clear debris and maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times
Skills:
- Proven experience as a Groundworker or similar role
- Knowledge of construction techniques and materials
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans
- Proficient in using hand tools and operating machinery
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor for extended periods
- Excellent teamwork skills and ability to follow instructions
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately
