ABOUT THE ROLE

We are working with a privately owned new build housing developer based in West Cornwall to recruit an experienced Groundworks Foreman.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable house builder on a permanent basis, overseeing a wide range of groundworks activities including roads, sewers, foundations and more.
The successful candidate will play a key role in managing and supporting a small team while remaining hands-on to ensure smooth project delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise and lead a small groundworks team on new build housing developments.
• Carry out hands-on groundworks tasks where required.
• Oversee the construction of roads, sewers, drainage, and site infrastructure.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification.
• Liaise with site management, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Maintain compliance with health & safety standards and regulations.
