At McDermotts, we’re hiring a Groundworker/Machine Driver Gang to join our dynamic team.
We are looking for skilled Ground Workers Gangs with good communication skills to join our site teams in Bristol, Chippenham and Weston Super Mare.
To be considered for the role you must have:

EXPERIENCE:

• Valid CSCS cards for all operatives
• CPCS/NPORS certification for plant operators
• Demonstrable experience in similar groundworks projects
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and work to specified levels
• Own transport to site is preferred

  Working hours: 07:30 – 17:00
  Site location: Bristol, Chippenham and Weston Super Mare.

Gangs should comprise of:
· A Machine Operator
· two skilled Groundworkers with dumper or roller ticket
· A operative with dumper or roller ticket.

Key responsibilities include:

• Excavation and installation of strip, trench fill, and reinforced pad foundations
• Installation of foul and surface water drainage systems
• Laying of pipework, manholes, gullies, and associated chambers
• Backfilling and compaction to specification
• Adherence to construction drawings, building regulations, and site safety protocols
