GROUNDWORKS SUPERVISOR

J Reddington Ltd are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Groundworks Supervisor for an initial project in Vauxhall. Based in London, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of groundworks operations on-site, with a particular focus on basement construction. This role is essential to ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to specification.

• Supervise groundworks teams and subcontractors on-site.
• Manage excavation, drainage, foundations, basement construction, kerbing, and concrete works.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and site-specific RAMS.
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications to guide site activities.
• Liaise with engineers, site managers, and suppliers to ensure smooth workflow.
• Monitor site progress, quality, and productivity, reporting to senior management.
• Conduct toolbox talks and site inductions.
• Maintain accurate records including daily diaries, material usage, and labour hours.
