JOB DESCRIPTION

The successful Group Accountant will:

• Oversee the company’s financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate books on accounts payable, receivable and daily financial entries and reconciliations.
• Manage the day to day running of the finance team - including all bookkeeping for the business
• Perform monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and manage the end-to-end monthly and yearly close.
• Review all financial plans and budgets regularly to look for cost reduction opportunities.
• Examine all financial reports and data closely to check for discrepancies.
• Create systems to prevent errors in data collection and calculations.
• Report to the Head of Finance with timely and accurate financial information.
• Assist the Head of Finance in presenting reports to senior executives, stakeholders, and board members.
