Responsibilities

As a Group and Events Planner, you will play a central role in coordinating our social and corporate clients’ experience with us. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, a skilled multitasker and a confident communicator.

As Group and Events Planner, key aspects of your role will include (but are not limited to):

  • Reactively receives, handles and coordinates all group and event inquiries.
  • Prepares and maintains group and event documentation, such as banquet event orders, rooming lists, room blocks, inventory and group resumes, ensuring everything is kept accurate and up-to-date.
  • Identifies operational challenges associated with the group/event booking, and works with operational departments and the main client to solve challenges or develop alternative solutions.
  • Coordinates, communicates and confirms event details and group requirements both verbally and in writing to the client and property operations.
  • Participates in property site inspections.
  • Conducts pre and post event meetings to review client needs and feedback.
  • Ensures billing accuracy.
