OVERVIEW
The Executive Chef is responsible for overseeing the catering services across our multiple care home sites in North London. The primary goal is to create a nurturing dining environment that makes every meal “tastes like home” for our residents. They lead the catering team, inspire culinary excellence, and ensure the delivery of nutritious, beautifully presented meals while maintaining high standards of culinary excellence, food safety and hygiene.
Culinary qualifications/degree from an accredited institution. Appropriate supervisory experience and relevant qualifications pertaining to the safe delivery of Food & Hygiene or Catering Services. Minimum Level 3 in Catering or equivalent QCF qualification. Food Safety and Hygiene certification (Level 3 or higher). Working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation. Experience of working as a Head Chef or Executive Chef preferably in a healthcare or hotel environment. Experience working in a supervisory role across multiple sites. Experience of menu development and kitchen management.
