The Role Location: Sydney We have found a great balance of embracing flexible working whilst also maintaining in-office collaboration with most teams meeting in the office 3 days per week. Shape the Narrative: Steer the entire media and connections strategy for NAB's Home Loans, one of Australia's most prominent financial products, in a fiercely competitive market. Master the Full Funnel: You'll be the architect of campaigns that build long-term brand love and memorability, while also driving immediate, measurable results and homeowner applications. Command the Campaign: Take charge of a significant $12M budget, making pivotal decisions on how to best connect with millions of Australians on their home ownership journey. Solve Complex Puzzles: Dive deep into audience insights to solve the challenge of speaking to diverse customer segments—from first-home buyers to seasoned investors—with one powerful, unified voice. Drive Real Business Growth: Your key mission will be to demonstrate the tangible impact of your media strategy on NAB's bottom line, proving how great advertising delivers real commercial success. Ideal Skills and Experience You will thrive in this role if you are a leader who enjoys connecting big, creative brand ideas to tangible commercial outcomes. We’re also looking for; A Strategic Heavyweight: You are a seasoned media planning director with proven experience leading major, complex accounts (finance experience is a huge plus!). A Creative Problem-Solver: You thrive on untangling complex market tensions and can transform a deep customer insight into a compelling, big-picture media plan. The Full-Funnel Expert: You are equally passionate and knowledgeable about building iconic brands and optimising performance campaigns to smash acquisition targets. An Influential Leader: With exceptional communication skills, you can confidently guide senior clients, inspire your team, and champion innovative media thinking. Commercially Savvy: You have sharp business acumen and are energised by the accountability of delivering clear return on investment from a major media spend.
