Job Description:
The Partnerships & Platform division is responsible for all elements of strategic partnerships for the dentsu Media practice in the US. The team sits at the intersection of dentsu’s media agencies (Carat, iProspect and dentsuX), clients, investment and activation communities, and Amplifi, the commercial innovation arm for dentsu. The team is responsible for translating the business needs of dentsu’s clients, the strategic and commercial imperatives of dentsu itself, as well as emergent and established trends across the industry and society into strategic, value-driven, and beneficial partnerships. They also set the strategic agenda for partnerships for dentsu in the marketplace, in new business and in product/solution design within dentsu.
The Group Director, Commercial Partnerships will report into the VP, Commercial Partnerships and operate as a subject matter expert in B2B and Retail/Commerce both internally and externally. You will work across adjacent media channels, environmental contexts, and disciplines to shape and implement partnership strategies within your area of expertise. This includes negotiating and securing partnership agreements aligned with that strategy, and ensuring those partnerships meet goals by delivering: strategic impact, innovation, and value creation.
You will collaborate within multiple capabilities at dentsu—including technology, media investment and activation, trading, and planning/strategy—requiring an ability to collaborate with diverse partners to create mutually beneficial outcomes. You will help future-proof dentsu’s business by forging partnerships with important vendors.

Qualifications:
The annual base salary range for this position is $113,000-$182,850. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law. Additionally, this position is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation.
