    Lancemore Hotel Group is seeking an accomplished Group Director of Finance to lead our finance function. As a key member of the Executive team and reporting directly to the CEO, this is a high-impact role suited to a high-performing leader who shares our drive and commitment to continue delivering excellence in all that we do.

Responsibilities
  • Strategically important role reporting into the CEO, a member of the Executive Committee and an important player in shaping how the organisation is run
  • Manage all financial and management accounting as well as cash flow management for the group
  • Lead/Partner with GMs to achieve excellent financial control across the organisation
  • Lead a team of seven employees to work in a high performance, engaged workplace environment
  • Monitor and improve systems, policies and procedures across all elements of financial and operational control budgeting, forecasting, EOM reporting etc.
  • Be prepared to have a hands-on approach in the processing of daily, weekly, monthly financial reporting and compliance
  • Cultivate strong working relationships with JV partners, owners, key suppliers – banking, insurance, tax accounting, utilities, major contracts etc.
  • Assist with strategic direction of the business and Hotels as a key member of the Executive team
  • Manage assets via building maintenance, best use assessment and capital expenditure
  • Help manage acquisition, handover, new opening and refurbishment projects
