Group Facilitator - Part-time position
Plan, supervise, implement and evaluate youth-centered activities
Lead specialized activities in program areas such as wellness, arts & crafts, social skill building, educational activities, team building, games and/or creative challenges, etc.
Curriculum development and planning
Complete administrative duties as directed
Ensure activities are kept supplied consistently and well organized

Responsibilities

Support and supervise youth participants and volunteers
Assist in food initiatives as needed
Responsible for liaising with mentors and school personnel
Attend community events hosted by BBBSCSI
Responsible for recruitment, enrolment, orientation and training of mentors in accordance with BBBS of Canada Service & Delivery
Standards minimum 2-year post-secondary diploma with related work experience or a bachelor’s degree in social science or humanities comfortable working in the elementary schools facilitation skills, interviewing and training volunteers
Requirements must have a vehicle self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team
Available Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday for in person facilitation 9:00am – 2:30pm
20 to 25 hours per week
