ABOUT US

Into Action Recovery is a supportive recovery residence dedicated to helping men overcome addiction and rebuild meaningful, purposeful lives. We emphasize an integrated bio-psycho-social-spiritual approach grounded in evidence-based practices and the 12-Step program of recovery, while fostering accountability, community, and long-term wellness.

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Group Facilitator to lead structured group sessions in our men’s supportive recovery environment. The ideal candidate will bring both professional training and personal insight, with a strong preference for those with lived experience in recovery and long-term sobriety (long-term sobriety is not the only qualification, however).
As a Group Facilitator, you will design and deliver engaging group sessions that support recovery, personal growth, relapse prevention, and community reintegration, while working within a collaborative team of dedicated helping professionals.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Required: Experience facilitating groups in the addiction recovery or mental health field.
  • Strong understanding of the 12-Step recovery process and bio-psycho-social approaches.
  • Excellent communication, listening, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to establish trust and rapport with men in early recovery.
  • Preferred:
  • Lived experience with long-term recovery from addiction.
  • Certification or formal training in addiction studies, counseling, social work, or related fields.
  • Familiarity with trauma-informed practice and relapse prevention strategies.
