GROUP FACILITATOR –IN YOUNG PEOPLE/ADULT/OLDER PERSONS FOR OUR IN-PATIENT & DAY PROGRAM SERVICES

  Seeking an enthusiastic Group Facilitator to join the In-Patient & Day Program team to cover staff sick leave and annual leave; we are seeking a motivated, energetic applicant who has effective communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and group facilitation.

Inpatient Program: offers specialised inpatient care for people struggling with emotional or behavioural difficulties.

• Anxiety
• Depression & Mood disorders
• PTSD & Trauma
• Substance Misuse & Addiction

Day Programs: We offer a variety of evidence-based group therapy programs designed to address specific needs. These programs help people develop coping mechanisms, manage symptoms, and prevent relapse.
Seeking a motivated, enthusiastic applicant who has effective communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work autonomously and within multidisciplinary team, and experience facilitating group therapy with young people.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

• Registered Nurse with Current APHRA registration, Clinical Psychologist Grade 2, Occupational Therapist Grade 2 or Social Worker Grade 2.
• A minimum of 3 years post graduate experience in group facilitation in the areas of Mental Illness.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and solely.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Commitment to excellence in the delivery of healthcare services to patients seeking mental health treatment.
• Knowledge with DBT, CBT, ACT and Mindfulness would be highly desirable.
• Well-developed and established group skills.
