Group Finance Manager required for our service in Preston (PR1)
- Full-Time
- Office based with hybrid
- 37.5 hrs per week
- £45,964.00 - £54,992.50 per annum (based on £23.57ph - £28.20ph, dependant on qualifications)

We are looking for committed, motivated and resilient Support Workers who have a passion and ambition to support young people aged 16 to 19, who are transitioning from residential or foster care, present as homeless or are unaccompanied asylum-seeking children.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Qualified accountant, CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent (Desired)
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in a previous management role (Desired)
- Hold a valid Driving licence
- Clear understanding of financial principles, regulations, and accounting standards.
- Proven ability to interpret data, generate insights, and present recommendations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the organisation.
- Competent in financial software and tools
- Hold a valid driving license and have access to own vehicle.

Responsibilities:
The role of a Finance Manager is integral to the financial stability and growth of our organisation. As a Finance Manager, you will lead the finance team and oversee various financial functions and processes to safeguard our fiscal health. Your responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, reconciliation, managing internal orders, overseeing accounts receivable and payable, payroll, and young people’s allowance payments, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. You will provide strategic financial insights to the leadership team and support decision making processes that drive the organisation towards its financial goals. You will also work closely with external accountants to maintain accurate financial reporting and compliance with tax and regulatory requirements. Reporting directly to the leadership team, you will be pivotal in developing and maintaining robust financial strategies, policies, and procedures that promote a sustainable financial environment.
