Job Description The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Group Finance Manager to join our team in Sydney. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, this role will lead a small team and take ownership of key finance processes, statutory reporting, and project delivery in line with company and regulatory deadlines. This is a global focussed hands-on role where you’ll combine leadership, technical expertise, and process improvement to ensure our financial operations are efficient, compliant, and future-focused. Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and manage the finance team, supporting development and performance. Deliver accurate monthly financial results in line with the Finance Calendar. Manage dependencies across the group finance function (AP, AR, Commissions). Prepare and review month-end journals, P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow reports. Take ownership of the Capitalisation of Development Costs process and related technology systems. Conduct variance analysis against prior periods and forecasts, maintaining clear documentation. Produce insightful management and board reports with commentary. Oversee half-year and full-year reporting processes, including reconciliations for auditors. Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Consolidation and Disclosure Management (CDM), our external reporting software. Qualifications About You You’re an experienced finance professional with a track record of leading teams and delivering high-quality reporting within complex environments. You thrive under pressure, are detail-oriented, and have a “no surprises” approach to work. Skills & Qualifications CPA or CA qualification (Master’s in Accounting desirable). 10+ years’ experience across financial management, reporting, and analysis. Strong knowledge of accounting standards, compliance, and financial planning. Proficiency with Xero, MYOB, Sage, ERP systems, and MS Office. Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to manage peak workload periods (month-end, quarter-end, half-year, year-end). Additional Information Why Join Us?
