About the job

We're currently partnering with a fast-growing software business looking to appoint a Financial Controller to play a key role in overseeing the Group's financial reporting and controls.

• What you'll be doingTake ownership of the month-end close and group financial reporting process.
• Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements under IFRS and HGB.
• Manage and improve accounting processes, controls and systems to support the continued growth of the business.
• Support the group consolidation process and ensure accurate and timely reporting.
• Work closely with senior stakeholders across the business, providing clear financial information and insight.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and take ownership of implementing improvements across the finance function.

• What we're looking forStrong accounting background, ideally with previous audit experience.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and HGB.
• Experience across financial reporting, month-end close and group consolidation.
• Strong understanding of accounting processes and internal controls.
• Previous experience in a Financial Controller or similar role within a growing business.
