About the role: In this position within Scandic Group Finance, you will work in a team, Group Control, which is responsible for the Scandic Group's external and internal financial reporting, financial planning and monitoring, internal control and administration of group-wide financial systems such as group consolidation, ERP and budget/forecast. The position is located at Scandic's head office in Stockholm. As Group Financial Controller, you will work within the department Group Accounting. There is a lot happening at Scandic, so we can promise you plenty of challenges and fun as this area continues to grow and evolve. This role will report to our Group Accounting Manager. Your Opportunity: As Group Financial Controller, you will work on a group level and closely with our subsidiaries to ensure they provide us with correct financial reporting. Tasks as Group Financial Controller: Group accounting and consolidation, which includes monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements Participate in the preparation of interim reports and annual reports as part of Scandic's external financial reporting Ongoing work with IFRS 16 contracts, both accounting and contractual Participate in work on acquisition questions and acquisition accounting Provide support to subsidiaries in accounting and reporting issues Ongoing work with internal control including development of group-wide processes Participate in projects regarding accounting, reporting, internal control and other issues that are handled from a group perspective. Your Profile: You have a degree in business & administration or equivalent and have at least 3 years’ experience. You have either experience as Group Accountant, Auditor or equal position. As a person, you are independent, thorough, analytical and have good collaboration skills. You are confident in yourself and have high integrity. You are responsible and loyal. You are professional, perform at a high level and have a desire to progress and develop. You possess communicative skills and are good at building external and internal relationships.
