REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Independent decision making, problem solving and

analytical skills

• Ability to communicate effectively with the public and

staff, both verbal and written

• General fitness equipment maintenance and exercise

information for apparently healthy individuals

• Strong inter-personal skills and comfort dealing with

new people in a fitness environment

• Exceptional customer service skills

Duties include instructing fitness classes, organizing equip-
ment, and promoting a positive and inclusive atmosphere
for all CDCC patrons.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Standard First Aid

AED

• BCRPA Group Exercise Instructor Certificate or

equivalent certification for your discipline

• Satisfactory Criminal Records

ied work schedule based on operational demands that in-
cludes day, weekend, and/or evening shifts. Th
The normal entry wage for this position is $24.81/hr with a
range from $23.65 to $27.07 commensurate with experi-
ence.
