ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking an energetic and creative Group Fitness Instructor to lead one or more of strength, HIIT, boxing, weightlifting, and mobility classes. You will design and deliver safe, engaging classes that cater to a wide range of fitness levels and help build VIMALIFE’s thriving community. The ideal candidate will be passionate about movement, have a strong understanding of exercise science, and be able to motivate members to achieve their goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design & lead classes across multiple modalities. Group fitness instructors organize and lead group exercise classes—these may include cardiovascular programs, strength training or stretching, and may involve creating routines and selecting appropriate music. You will curate and teach classes in strength, HIIT, boxing, weightlifting and mobility, ensuring variety and progression.
  • Demonstrate proper technique & monitor participants. Fitness instructors demonstrate or explain how to perform exercises to minimize injuries, watch participants to ensure correct form, provide modifications to help participants feel successful, and adjust programs based on participants’ progress.
  • Maintain a safe, welcoming environment. You will enforce safety rules and proper equipment. You’ll also help ensure that studio spaces and equipment are clean and organized.
  • Foster community & motivate members. Lead and motivate individuals and groups in exercise activities. Maintain excellent communication and customer‑service skills. You will create a positive atmosphere, encourage members of all levels, and align classes with VIMALIFE’s community‑driven ethos.
