The Opportunity At Goodlife Health Clubs, group fitness is where energy, community and results come together. As a Group Fitness Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind that experience - leading, mentoring and developing a team of passionate instructors who bring the studio to life every day. You’ll champion group fitness across the club, building excitement around classes, driving member participation and creating an environment where people feel motivated, welcomed and inspired to move. From shaping a dynamic timetable to launching new initiatives, you’ll ensure every class delivers real value for our members and keeps them coming back for more. Working closely with the club leadership team, you’ll help create a vibrant fitness culture where instructors feel supported, members feel connected, and the studio becomes one of the most powerful drivers of engagement in the club. This role is perfect for a passionate Group Fitness professional with at least two years of industry experience and leadership experience (this could come from other industries) who’s ready to step up, lead from the front and inspire a community through movement. At Goodlife, a single class can change someone’s entire day - and sometimes their life. Must be available: Mondays - 9:00am-2:00pm Wednesdays - 10:00am-3:00pm Key responsibilities: Attracting and recruiting Group Fitness Instructors who live and love fitness Managing and timetabling up to 100 Group Fitness classes weekly Help new Group Fitness Instructors become a part of the team by coaching, motivating and inspiring them. Building a culture where your team loves to come to work and members love to work out. Create a fun and focused club experience by organising, marketing and running group exercises that meet the needs of our members. Continue to raise the Goodlife standard by running Group Exercises that are energetic, focused, and professional. Manage Group Fitness budgets and prepare related reports. Act as a role model, motivator, and a Goodlife brand ambassador. Provide an expert Goodlife experience at every touch point - Acquisition, integration and visitation. Willingness to comply with and carry out all implemented Work Health and Safety related activities and processes To be successful in this role you will need: A passion for and significant experience as a Group Fitness Instructor, ideally Les Mills or studio style. Have previous managerial experience in a health club or gym and a passion for developing people to perform at their full potential.
