ESSENTIAL AND DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Level 6 H&S Qualification
  • NEBOSH Certified
  • Level 6 Environmental Management Qualification
  • Level 3 Fire Safety Management Qualification
  • Level 3 Training Qualification
  • Level 3 ISO 14001/45001 Auditing Qualification
  • 10 years relevant experience in an Operational Role
  • 3 years Line Management experience
  • Ability to drive change
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience working within a Similar Manufacturing and Engineering environment
  • Direct experience in Foundry Industry (Desired) or Experience working with High temperature melting - Alloys, Ceramics, Glass etc
  • Practical experience in Energy Management and Carbon Accounting (Desired)

Responsibilities

· Drive coordination and standardisation across a physically dispersed, multi-site group
· Working within tight restrictions drive forward to achieve outcomes
· Identify, establish and monitor leading Indicators and supporting KPIs
· Provide legally compliant advice to the SMT
· Provide advice and support to Maintenance Coordinators
· Liaise with Insurers, Enforcement Authorities and Suppliers
· Provide support to Operations Managers and locally deployed EHS Coordinators
· Devise and maintain training, audit and inspection plans for all sites across the Group
· Carry out practical work in risk assessment, training and inspection as required
· Complete monthly site visits across the Group
