GROUP HEALTH & SAFETY MANAGER | PREVENTR FIRE SAFETY

Location: Remote (UK-based) with regular travel to company and client sites nationwide. Option to work from regional offices if preferred to remote working. (Offices in London, Sheffield, Wakefield and Poole).
Salary: Dependant on experience + car allowance

ABOUT US:

We are a national full-service fire protection company, currently building a group of fire safety businesses that deliver accredited fire safety and security services across the country. Our mission is to ensure safety and compliance in every project we undertake. We provide active and passive fire safety services, as well as manufacturing in-house BMTRADA fire doors.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • UK right to work
  • NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (Diploma preferred).
  • IOSH membership (TechIOSH minimum; GradIOSH or CMIOSH desirable).
  • Experience with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards.
  • Strong background in construction or fire safety sectors.
  • Willingness to travel to various sites as required.
  • Competent with a full suite of Microsoft products and H&S documentation.
  • Experience working in a rapidly growing corporate environment in manufacturing or construction.
Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

We are seeking a qualified and proactive Group Health & Safety Manager to oversee our internal and external health and safety operations. This role is pivotal in maintaining our ISO certifications, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance across all sites.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage and maintain ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 certifications.
  • Manage and maintain accreditations with Constructionline, SSIP and SafeContractor.
  • Conduct internal audits, risk assessments, and develop safety policies.
  • Oversee health and safety compliance on client construction sites.
  • Liaise with outsourced health and safety advisors.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on health and safety practices.
  • Ensure fleet compliance and proper use of PPE.
  • Ensure subcontractor and staff compliance with health and safety regulations and company policy.
  • Complete method statements and RAMS as required for client sites.
  • Oversee and ensure facilities and equipment are safe and ‘fit for purpose’.
  • Provide KPI reports and assessments to the Operations Director / CEO.
