Are you ready to take on responsibility for global insurance programs and risk management strategies? As Group Insurance Manager, you will play a key role in developing and managing international insurance programs, optimizing risk costs, and providing expert advice to our worldwide operations.

WHAT TO EXPECT

• Development, maintenance and administration of international insurance programs, policies, claims management and claims control initiatives
• Building close relationships with brokers, insurers, underwriters and service providers to secure favorable insurance terms.
• Providing insurance-related expertise and advice to the companies of the PALFINGER Group on risk and compliance issues.
• Promoting the principles of risk management and loss prevention procedures within the company
• Investigation, negotiation and allocation of damages in cooperation with international claims adjusters and insurers

WHAT YOU BRING

• At least 5 years of experience in international insurance business and programs (broker, insurer or insurance department of a company)
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration, law, engineering or a similar field
• Extensive knowledge of insurance-related laws, regulations and customary law
• Fluent English and German skills (both spoken and written)
• Advanced MS Office skills and strong analytical, financial, communicative and negotiation skills.

We offer an attractive, performance-based salary that is commensurate with qualifications and professional experience and can be significantly higher than the collective agreement for this position (the minimum collective agreement salary based on full-time employment is EUR 52,197.04 gross per year).
