Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking to recruit an energetic, focused and dedicated Group IT Manager to manage, maintain and enhance the full IT operation across our multiple sites.
This is a full time, in person role, that is set within a very busy manufacturing and logistic environment.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Working closely with the key decision makers of the business you will be responsible for the management of the IT Operation ensuring that IT does not hinder or disable day to day business that a highly professional IT support service is fully resourced and managed to provide efficient and cost-effective troubleshooting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Cyber Security & User Safety: Prioritise cyber security and user safety in all aspects of IT operations, ensuring best practices are followed to protect business data and systems.
  • Team Management & IT Operations: Lead and manage the IT team to deliver reliable, stable, and enabling IT services. Ensure system uptime through proactive maintenance and support operational continuity and efficiency across the organisation.
  • IT Infrastructure Development: Collaborate closely with the Senior Management Team, Operational Leads, and Key Stakeholders to develop and continuously improve the IT infrastructure. Enhance the organisation’s operational capabilities through strategic and technical input.
  • Operational Alignment & Continuous Improvement: Maintain a deep understanding of operational processes and requirements within the business. Regularly evaluate the effectiveness and suitability of IT systems, swiftly identifying risks, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement. Drive well-managed, efficient change programmes to deliver IT enhancements and infrastructure upgrades.
  • Data & Reporting Enhancement: Partner with operational leaders to develop and optimise reporting, supporting data-driven decision-making and performance improvement.
  • Project Delivery & Strategic Implementation: Lead the delivery of business critical and strategic IT projects. Effectively manage projects end-to-end, including stakeholder engagement, procurement, implementation, and change management—ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
