Description Summary Manages groups of production employees in order to meet goals in a timely manner by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Examines trays of plants to ensure quality products are being produced. Maintains product supply for production workers. Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations. Adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules. Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product. Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems. Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals. Maintains time and production records. Performs activities of workers supervised. Trains new employees and upcoming leaders. Supervisory Responsibilities Aids in supervising 4-20 employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and culture. Responsibilities include training employees; assigning, and directing work; addressing complaints and resolving problems as needed. Starting $20.75/hr Requirements Ability to speak Spanish preferred Manufacturing plants in processing department Basic computer skills and ability to use handheld scanner Strong attention to detail Ability to motivate and inspire excellence in others High school diploma or GED Ability to stand for long periods of time
