As Team Leader Accounts Payable, you design and are responsible for the entire Invoice-to-Pay process of the MDS Group and ensure efficient, timely and controlled processing of all invoices and payments.

Your tasks

• Professional and disciplinary management of the accounts payable team as well as further development of employees.
• Ensuring the proper and timely processing of incoming invoices including electronic payment systems, account assignment and workflow in SAP S/4HANA.
• Control and execution of payment runs (F110) taking into account deadlines, discounts and liquidity.
• Maintenance, reconciliation and clarification of creditor accounts as well as active operating room management.
• Creation and tracking of onward charges (e.g. freight, complaint and damage cases) including invoicing.
• Responsibility for travel expense accounting and company credit card management, including review and posting.
• Optimizing payment terms and utilizing discounts to improve working capital.
• Ensuring master data quality in the accounts payable area.
• Participation in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB) (accruals, provisions).
• Further development and automation of the invoice-to-pay process in coordination with the purchasing department.
• Ensuring an effective internal control system in payment transactions (compliance, segregation of duties, approvals).
