Description
Professional, disciplinary and organizational management of the infrastructure and data center team with responsibility for the leadership, development and motivation of 11 employees as well as ensuring a high-performing and future-oriented team structure.
Ensuring stable, secure and highly available operation of the central IT infrastructure, in particular the data center, server, virtualization, storage, backup, firewall, directory and authorization services.
Further development and modernization of the data center and platform infrastructure, including planning and management of consolidation, migration and cloud/PaaS projects in close coordination with the department's related groups.
Planning, coordination and implementation of infrastructure and operational projects, including resource, budget and schedule management, as well as monitoring, documentation and continuous optimization of the IT systems and processes operated.
Responsibility for operational and quality management, including the definition, monitoring, and reporting of relevant KPIs, as well as ensuring second- and third-level support and managing incident, escalation, and emergency situations in close collaboration with the other teams in the department.
