The Group Leader is tasked with managing minor capital works and facilities management programs in schools, providing operational input for annual program development, and ensuring effective collaboration among facilities management contractors, schools, and stakeholders. This includes developing local project management protocols, coordinating emergency responses with the Treasury Managed Fund, and liaising with the Manager of the Demountable Program for temporary accommodation needs.
The role also involves advising Asset Services Officers on lease agreements, fostering positive relationships within the school community, and preparing accurate draft responses for technical briefs and Ministerial correspondence.
The Group Leader leads negotiations, ensures compliance with current legislation and policies, and provides strategic advice to delivery teams to meet stakeholder needs, all while coordinating asset programs and making decisions regarding staff supervision in consultation with senior leadership.

Responsibilities
