Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end sea, air and road freight operations, including FCL/LCL and multimodal shipments.

- Coordinate international shipments across UK, Europe, USA, Africa and other global markets.

- Oversee logistics requirements for Tanzania, Madagascar, Djibouti and other African markets.

- Negotiate freight rates and manage relationships with freight forwarders, shipping lines, airlines, trucking companies and customs/clearing agents.

-Should be able to manage a substantial number of simultaneous international shipments while maintaining accuracy and control.

- Oversee customs clearance, HS codes, import/export documentation and compliance.

- Monitor shipments, ETAs, lead times, customs status and final deliveries.

- Identify freight cost-saving opportunities, route alternatives and shipment consolidation opportunities.

- Maintain accurate logistics records, documentation, shipment trackers and reporting.

- Work closely with sales, commercial teams and senior management to provide accurate shipment and product arrival visibility.

- Proactively resolve delays, customs issues and other logistics challenges.

Candidate Profile

- 5+ years of proven experience in international logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain or import/export operations with strong experience across sea ,air and road freight.

- Strong hands-on experience across sea, air and road freight.

- Experience managing international imports/exports, customs clearance and freight negotiations.

- Strong knowledge of shipping documentation, HS codes and international freight processes.

- Experience managing multiple shipments across different countries and trade lanes.
