Responsibilities

GROUP MANAGER ROLES

  • Group Manager – Cancer Screening, Treatment and Support, and Women, Children, Youth and Community Health Groups
  • Group Manager – Unplanned Care
  • Group Manager – Surgical Services
  • Group Manager – Mental Health and Addiction Services, and Healthy Ageing and Rehabilitation Groups
    To be considered suitable for the role, you will have significant leadership experience and the ability to lead a team of skilled and motivated individuals. You will demonstrate a strong awareness of equity issues across the sector (including, but not limited to, Māori health), and a thorough understanding of the function and challenges of the service group. You will possess excellent communication skills, including active listening, group facilitation, report writing, and public speaking. A relevant management qualification and/or a minimum of 10 years’ experience managing complex healthcare teams is required.
