Position Summary: Manages a team responsible for software engineering. Manages the performance of assigned staff, coaches, and guides on project management. Sets strategic team priorities and objectives. Allocates resources to align with business goals and objectives. Primary Responsibilities: Identifies and resolves intricate operational and organizational challenges by leveraging internal and external resources effectively. Brings expertise to research, develop, and implement methodologies, protocols, and processes, enhancing transition project management and elevating the client experience. Operationalizes functional strategies across subordinate teams, developing area objectives and ensuring alignment with established goals. Defines key business drivers for maximizing team performance, coaching, and guiding staff to improve the execution of team tasks and goal achievement. Coordinates cross-team efforts to ensure timely completion of tasks. Ensures all activities comply with required regulatory standards and anticipates and develops compliance measures for evolving regulations. Determines integration points across teams and manages necessary hand-offs between them. Takes a proactive role in recruiting, directing, motivating, and developing staff to maximize their individual contributions, professional growth, and ability to function cohesively as a team. Provides critical feedback at key junctures. Resolves complex issues. Leadership: Manages a team of support staff and professional individual contributors. Key responsibilities include coaching, talent and performance management, and resource allocation. Provides support for long-term departmental needs and development. Job Scope: Directs the development and supervision of team objectives, potentially managing financial resources, including budgets and expenses. Focus is placed on achieving daily and short-term goals. Recognized as an advisor to senior management, negotiates changes within the direct area of responsibility and collaborates with other functions. Education: Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
